Dragon’s Ending is coming!

It’s been a while in the writing, but the good news is – Dragon’s Ending is now available for pre-order! It’s the fourth book in the Wings Over Albion series and is out on September 24th.

This book takes us away from England and to a Gothic mansion deep in the Welsh countryside. It follows the adventures of Dominic, unpredictable (to put it politely) heir to Wales’s leading dragon family, and Ben, a historian who visits Dragon’s Ending to research dragon-shifter records. He expects a peaceful, productive research trip. Then he meets Dominic…

Here’s a little more about the book:

Dragon history was easy. This particular dragon? Anything but.

I was sent to Dragon’s Ending to uncover lost dragon history. What I found was Dominic Bedwyr.

The heir to one of Britain’s oldest dragon-shifter families, Dominic has a reputation for turning heads and causing trouble in equal measure. He flirts. He provokes. He has an infuriating habit of appearing when least expected and interrupting my research.

And each time I think I’ve worked Dominic out, he proves me wrong. Because behind the studied indifference, I catch glimpses of someone else entirely. He’s a man born to inherit everything, yet trusted with nothing.

Before long, I catch myself listening for his footsteps. Waiting for him to appear by my side, pretending not to help and somehow making me laugh anyway.

But dragon families are complicated. Dominic’s, most of all.

It’s one thing to fall in love with Dominic. It’s another to fall in love with the Bedwyr heir.

A small, dragonish update

I’ve had quite a few people ask if there are going to be more books in the Wings Over Albion series, so I wanted to let you know – yes! I’m currently working on book four.

Which means my days are presently full of dragons flying over ruined Welsh castles, alarming amounts of rain, and an infuriatingly provocative and unserious dragon, whose neck I might well wring before I reach the end of the book.

So, in other words, business as usual. I’m hoping to have the new book out in the autumn, though that depends on how well a certain dragon behaves.

The sixth and final book in the Strength of the Pack series is out today, bringing the Elk Ridge pack face-to-face with cat-shifters. Oh, the horror!

Karl’s life is organized around alertness, control, and keeping a healthy distance from cats. Leon is a sharp-tongued cat-shifter with strong opinions and excellent hair.

When they’re stranded together in the wilderness, irritation slowly turns into something even more annoying, something almost like feelings. Neither of them is particularly pleased about that development.

They’d be Tristan and Colby in Red Moon Rising. Not just because they are maddeningly romantic together, but because of the whole feuding families (packs) thing.

Even Karl, who tends to observe more than he speaks, notes in his book:

Tristan and Colby were kissing like the world was ending. Presumably they were celebrating the news. Though, with those two, it could just have been because it was Tuesday.


Pack politics are complicated. Being hopelessly in love doesn’t make it any easier.

A cinnamon roll hero

I don’t know who first came up with that delightful description of a hero who’s sweet and lovely the whole way through, but I love it.

I first discovered cinnamon rolls on a backpacking trip to the U.S. after university and was instantly convinced of their superiority to almost any other bread-based product.

And Jason, in A Liar’s Moon, is the cinnamoniest roll there ever was. A total sweetheart, his shyness and goodness cause a bit of a malfunction in Riley’s jaded cycnism.

There’s just one problem – Riley’s undercover. And he’s investigating Jason’s pack.

Weekly wolves incoming

Good news for anyone who likes brooding alphas, defiant strays, slow-burn tension, and wolves who are terrible at communication: An Impossible Mate is now available for pre-order!

Releasing January 29th, it will also be available via Kindle Unlimited.

This is the first in a six-book series, because apparently restraint is for people who don’t have a head full of demanding shifters and found-family dramas.

In An Impossible Mate, alpha Matt is trying to keep his pack together, his past behind him, and his temper in check. Jesse, a loner with strong opinions and no filter, crashes into Matt’s life with exactly zero respect for pack rules.

It does not go well.

Until it very much does.
